The Discraft Ares is a high-speed distance driver developed from the early Zeus 2.0 test flights. It was designed for players who wanted more torque resistance and stability than the original Zeus while maintaining the same comfortable hand feel and shot shaping ability. Those early test runs quickly gained attention among both professionals and everyday players for their dependable stability and strong finishing fade. The Ares keeps the familiar high-speed profile of the Zeus but introduces a more overstable, torque-resistant flight. It handles aggressive power, headwinds, and high-speed releases while continuing to push forward before finishing with a strong, reliable fade. Players can trust it on flex lines, powerful flat releases, and maximum distance drives where control and finish are critical.
